It's been less than a year since Chromeo dropped their latest LP, Business Casual, but the Montreal electro-funk duo have kept the new music coming with a series of stop-gap releases. They've put out their Live from Montreal iTunes Session and made "the world's smallest album." Now, they've unveiled a new remix EP, as well as a North American tour.
The EP is for the new single "When the Night Falls," which features a guest spot from Beyoncé's sister Solange Knowles. Along with the original album version, the five-track collection features remixes by Hercules and Love Affair, Breakbot and Lifelike, plus a cover by Mayer Hawthorne. The collection drops on July 26 via Big Beat/Atlantic Records.

Along with the EP, Chromeo will be heading out on a North American fall tour. This means that the group will be on the road consistently from now until November. Along the way, they will come to Canada for several dates.
The fall shows will feature Mayer Hawthorne, and Breakbot will also play selected dates (including Toronto). The tickets for the fall tour will be available to the public on Friday (July 8) following a pre-sale that begins today (July 6). Scroll past the tracklist to see the schedule.
