Moody goth and folk mixer Chelsea Wolfe is once again hitting the road for a North American tour, and she will bringing a new 7-inch along with her.
Comprising outtakes from her Abyss recording sessions, the vinyl release features the previously unreleased tracks "Hypnos" and "Flame," and sees release on April 1 through Sargent House. The A-side, "Hypnos," is a haunted arrangement of lean guitar melodies and shushed vocals. Featuring lines like "he's never coming near my love again," the song is streaming below.
As previously reported, the Abyss sessions took place in Dallas, with Wolfe working alongside producer John Congleton (David Byrne, St. Vincent, Cloud Nothings).
Beyond the vinyl single release, Wolfe has unveiled more North American tour dates. Though she has a pair of festival dates lined up in March, the tour proper kicks off at the end of April.
The trip hits a good chunk of the North American tour circuit, with Canadian stops booked in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Supporting Wolfe for most of this stretch is A Dead Forest Index.
