Despite the occasional single, and collaborations with the likes of Lil B and Kanye West, it's been three years since Chance the Rapper offered up his last full-length solo project, Acid Rap. To the day, in fact. To celebrate, he's formally announced a follow-up, Chance 3.
Murmurings of a new solo release have been floating for a while, now, but Chancellor went onto his Instagram account today (April 30) to tease his forthcoming release. The post presents an illustration of the rapper sporting a hat with the number 3 on it. It's hashtagged with #chance3.
While a due date has yet to be revealed behind Chance 3, the Social Experiment leader is selling posters of the image now through his website.
Chance the Rapper hasn't issued a full-length release of his own since 2013, but he helped out Donnie Trumpet's Surf, collaborated with Lil B for the Free Base Freestyle mixtape, and recently lent a hand to Kanye West's The Life of Pablo.
Last year, the MC also offered up his "Somewhere in Paradise" single with Jeremih and R. Kelly, and "Angels". You'll find the music video for the latter track down below.
