Toronto-based post-punks Century Palm have unveiled a video for "New Creation," off their debut self-titled EP.
The band's lineup features some familiar favourites, bringing together all of the members of the Alberta-bred garage rock outfit Ketamines with Tough Age's Penny Clark, who recently made the move from Vancouver to Toronto. The resulting sound is a poppy, new wave-esque one, with the band openly laying out their sonic influences as Wire, Television and "maybe a little Devo."
The video for "New Creation" was recently shot on the shores of Lake Ontario during a nasty snow squall. Hit play below to watch the band traipse about in the snow and get dangerously close to the icy water.
Century Palm is out now via Planet of the Tapes.
