Earlier this year, Carrie Brownstein took part in Kim Gordon's book tour. But this fall, Brownstein will be getting a book tour of her very own, as the Sleater-Kinney member/Portlandia comedienne has announced a series of appearances in support of her memoir Hunger Makes Me a Modern Girl.
The outing begins the same day the the memoir is released through Riverhead Books on October 27. Following a series of U.S. engagements, the North American outing ends with Canadian stops in Montreal on November 16 and Toronto on November 17. There are 11 appearances in all.
Each of the talks is being presented as a conversation with a guest. The tour will feature some fairly high-profile contributors like Questlove of the Roots, actress Amy Poehler and author Dave Eggers.
See the full dates below, along with most (but not all) of the guests. Links for tickets can be found here (click on the city name for more information about that date), although some of the U.S. appearances have been on sale since last week and have already sold out.
