Sandwiched between a gigantic North American tour with Bullet For My Valentine and a string of European dates, Toronto hardcore metal lumberjacks Cancer Bats will grace their home and native land with a month of fall touring. Joining them in their travels will be UK metalheads Johnny Truant and Alexisonfire side-project Black Lungs.
Johnny Truant recently canceled their remaining July dates when lead singer Olly Mitchell dislocated his knee. On their MySpace blog, Mitchell addressed the situation:
Never in eight years have we had to cancel shows under these circumstances. But unfortunately in Luton two days ago I dislocated and fractured my knee. It's with a heavy heart that we have to cancel the next three weeks of show as I'm on doctors orders to stay in bed and off my foot so that I'm able to continue with our touring schedule when I'm well again. I want to thank everyone that has come out so far and supported us, we were having a fantastic time and you guys have all made it very special. We will be rescheduling the shows for December, so get ready for a big come back, send my knee good vibes!
