We were so distracted by Selena Gomez's Orphan Black-rivalling performance in her "Bad Liar" video yesterday (June 14) that we didn't even notice her famous pop star friend Taylor Swift (or a seriously uncanny lookalike) lurking in the background.
Yes, as MTV expertly points out, Ms. Swift can be seen on the high school student protagonist's bedroom wall. During the clip's melodramatic climax, the student (played by Gomez) isolates herself in her room, avoiding her dad (also played by Gomez) because she caught him cheating on her mom (also played by Gomez) with her gym teacher (also played by Gomez).
As Gomez #1 plops herself down on the edge of her bed, we get a glimpse at the posters decorating her totally '70s wood panelled and wallpapered walls — including a couple of shots that bear a striking resemblance to Swift.
She's front-and-centre in a Charlie's Angels-esque poster, and some folks on the internet have also noted the similarities between Swift and the blonde-haired, white sunglasses-sporting singer "Nina."
