As we previously reported, Camera Obscura have a new record coming out. It's called My Maudlin Career and is due April 20 via their new label, 4AD. Well, since new records and tours go hand-in-hand, the Scottish twee-poppers have now given word they will soon be heading to North America for a bunch of live dates.
Along with several shows in the U.S., Camera Obscura swing through Canada to hit up the big three: Vancouver on June 6, Montreal on June 26 and Toronto on June 27. Obviously, they'll be giving the live treatment to a bunch of new Maudlin tracks, and most likely the record's pretty sweet first single "French Navy," which is due out on April 13 on seven-inch, CD and digitally.
