Calgary's Sabertooth Return with Jesse Gander-Produced EP

Calgary pop punk crew Sabertooth released their criminally underrated debut album Making Light of a Shitty Situation back in 2011. After a short break, which saw band members focus on other projects like Unfun and Skin Colour, the group are back with a new EP.

The new release is called Morning Breath and features four brand new tracks. Unlike their previous releases, which were self-produced, this one sees the band teaming up with Vancouver producer Jesse Gander (White Lung, Japandroids), who filled out the sound without sacrificing any of the band's raw aggression.

Morning Breath will be available on March 1 via new label Debt Offensive Records. Two songs from the EP, "Morning Breath" and "Weird Inc.," can be streamed below.

They'll also celebrate the release with a pair of shows in their hometown, playing Broken City on March 1 and Tubby Dog on March 2.
