Following shows in Eastern Canada celebrating 50 years of music-making this past spring, Bruce Cockburn will now make his way to the Western provinces as part of a North American tour in 2023.
In February, the acclaimed songwriter will play seven dates in Western Canada, starting with a stop at Victoria's Royal Theatre.
From there, Cockburn will travel to Vancouver, Kelowna, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon and Winnipeg before heading to the United States. You can find his complete tour itinerary below.
Cockburn's celebrations to mark the anniversary of his self-titled debut album, which turned 50 in April 2020, have also included a vinyl box set and career-spanning Greatest Hits collection — the latter of which unfortunately landed a spot amongst Exclaim!'s Worst Album Covers of 2021.
In spite of that honour, trust us when we say that when it comes to the artist's songwriting and guitar playing, you shouldn't judge abook compilation by its cover.
