"Western Thrills" (video)

The July 10 release of Bravestation's Giants & Dreamers is still two weeks away, but the Toronto quirk-pop outfit have already shared a couple of tracks from the forthcoming long-player. Now we've got another single in the form of a video for "Western Thrills."

The peculiar clip accompanying this echoing pop number shows a group of hooded children in a forest, hanging out by a body of water and evidently building a civilization of their own. They eventually end up being treated to a performance from the dudes from Bravestation. A press release offers this explanation for the imagery:

The Little Mystic Warriors were believed to have been the adopted sons and daughters of a philosophic artisan who practiced magic and science on an island off of the Western Shores.  Prior to his passing away during The Great Flood he developed a Glowing Green Apple on his orchard that gave those who ate it, eternal youth.

The young tribe must protect themselves and their island from external threats that come in the form of an aging generation of hunters and gatherers who have survived the flood and threaten to ruin what is most sacred to them: their land, life and way of thinking.
