WTFest is set to take over Brantford, ON, this coming summer for its second straight year, and organizers have unveiled the lineup for the 2016 edition.

The festival is set to take place on June 24 and 25, with a free show at Harmony Square in downtown Brantford to kick off the opening day. A headliner will be named at a later date.

The main event will take place on Saturday (June 25) at Lions Park, with Canadian rock vets Billy Talent headlining the main stage. Hard-rocking Hamilton outfit Monster Truck will be on hand for support, as well as Saint Asonia and the Standstills. A second stage has also been added this year that will feature 12 local and regional acts, led by stage headliners the Ascot Royals. The headliner for the free show on June 24 has yet to be announced.

A battle of the bands competition will also take place before the festival with select shows across the region. Regional winners will perform at the free show at Harmony Square, with one winner earning an opening slot on the main stage the next day.

Ticket sales will be open to the public at noon on Thursday (January 21), with an early bird ticket running you $39.99 until April 1. A VIP ticket option is also available and will get you entrance to the festival's 19+ VIP area, separate parking, and a souvenir lanyard and T-shirt.
