'While a Nation Sleeps' (album stream)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jun 11, 2013

In Exclaim!'s recent review of reunited post-hardcore crew BoySetsFire's new While a Nation Sleeps LP, their first in seven years, we noted that it "has everything that's made BSF one of the better acts of our era." You need proof? Well, the band have put the entire album — which officially came out today (June 11) through Bridge 9 — up to listen to over on Bandcamp.

As you'll find below, the LP specializes in highly melodic, mid-tempo scream-and-sing anthems like "Phone Call (4 a.m.)" and "Save Yourself," while also offering slow-burning build ups like "Reason to Believe" and the chugged out metal licks of "Wolves of Babylon."
