Ontario is about a week away from hosting Canada's largest annual camping and music festival, Boots and Hearts, and before you make your way to Burl's Creek this August, Exclaim! has rounded up important trip and travel information to help you live your very best #BootsLife.

Tunes

As previously reported, Boots and Hearts 2023 runs August 10th to 13th at Burl's Creek in Oro-Medonte, ON, beginning with a Thursday evening Kick-Off party headlined by Tim Hicks. The first evening will also feature performances by Owen Riegling and eight finalists selected as part of the festival's Emerging Artist Showcase presented by Coors Original.

Friday's festivities will be led by Alberta-bred rock powerhouse Nickelback, while two of country music's finest in Keith Urban and Tim McGraw will headline the fest's main stage on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

A look at the complete festival lineup also points to sets by Big WreckJJ Wilde, Matt Lang, Dan Davison, Nice Horse, Blanco Brown, Ashland Craft, Teigen Gayse and many more.

Travel

Burl's Creek is located just north of Barrie, ON, sitting an hour outside of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), and if you're still deciding how you'll get to the festival site, the event has mapped out plenty of ways to kick up dust and get #BootsBound next week.

No car? No problem. Boots and Hearts offers shuttles to and from the festival servicing Barrie, Orillia, and Horseshoe Valley, while long distance shuttles are offered to and from Mississauga and North York. Additionally, shuttle service can be accessed via the Allandale Waterfront GO Station.

Shuttle trips can be made with the purchase of a corresponding shuttle pass, with complete purchase information here alongside itinerary details.

Catching a ride, taking a taxi, or using a ride-share program, festivalgoers are able to get dropped off and picked up at the festival's Line 7 Entrance (191 Line 7 South). You can check out the correct gate addresses for your ticket types here.

Whether you're looking to make the trip for the day, or camp for the full weekend, there are plenty of ways to stay at Burl's Creek. In addition to single day and full weekend parking, tent and RV campsites are available while quantities last, with accessible options available.

In a first for the festival, Boots and Hearts will offer on-site lockers to attendees in 2023, allowing them to keep their festival essentials secured for the day or weekend. Located at the main entrance to the entertainment grounds, purchased locker space can be accessed during festival hours, with the option to add portable device charging upon pre-order.

Tickets

Are the festival passes you hoped to wrangle completely sold out? Unable to make the festival entirely? Boots and Hearts has partnered with booking platform Lyte for ticket requests, returns and private sales available until Tuesday, August 8th at 11:59 p.m.

Via the platform, fans can select available ticket options and have their purchase completed automatically upon availability, or have their name added to a waitlist. If your plans have changed, tickets may be returned for an offer based on market prices, ahead of being resold.

You can also download the Boots and Hearts app on Apple and Android to register your wristbands, build your schedule and explore the interactive map.

Further Boots and Hearts festival and ticketing details can be found via the event's official website.
