Bonobo toured the hell out of his 2013 album The North Borders and documented it with a recent live album, and now he's plotting the next step. The UK producer's three-song Flashlight EP will be out on December 2 through Ninja Tune, and the title track is available to stream now.
The song is a slippery electronic cut that begins with a low-key burble of clacking rhythms, liquid bass and rippling synths. Around the one-minute mark, the beat settles into a low-key dance thump, which ebbs and flows throughout the head-bobbing five-and-a-half-minute arrangement.
