Gearing up for the release of Migration this January, Bonobo (a.k.a. Simon Green) has shared another taste of what's to come from his next solo LP with "Break Apart."
The latest track features contributions from vocalist Rhye (a.k.a. Michael Milosh). A press release reveals that the track's primary chord progression was sketched out by Green on a flight, adding horns, piano and bass soon after.
"I'm so happy Simon asked me to work on this song with him," Milosh said in a statement. From the moment I heard the instrumental track it spoke to me more than I can express in words. Being able to work with an artist that continuously makes me envious, like Simon, is where I always want to be."
Migration will arrive on January 13 through Ninja Tune. Hear "Break Apart" in the player below, and find out where you can catch Bonobo on his North American spring tour here.
