It's that time of year, folks. We've said goodbye to the holidays, and we must now brace for festival season. As such, Bonnaroo — Tennessee's foremost all-genre music festival — has announced its very large-and-in-charge lineup for 2024, running from June 13 to 16.
Headliners making their way to Manchester's favourite farm this year include Red Hot Chili Peppers, Post Malone, Fred again.. (on the same day as best buddy Four Tet... coincidence?), Pretty Lights and Fisher.
The bill is rounded out by Megan Thee Stallion, Cage the Elephant, Maggie Rogers, Melanie Martinez, Khruangbin, Cigarettes After Sex, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Diplo, Carly Rae Jepsen, Fisher, Jon Batiste, Dominic Fike, Parcels, Idles, Joey Bada$$, Lizzy McAlpine, T-Pain, Interpol, Joe Russo's Almost Dead, Two Friends, Taking Back Sunday, Gary Clark Jr, TV Girl, Thundercat, Ashnikko and Brittany Howard and many, many more.
2024 will also usher in a few new and special things for the festival, starting with its What Stage (that's the big one) firing up on Thursday night for a set from Pretty Lights.
The fest has also nabbed the 'sclusey on Fred again..'s entire North American festival plans for the year, with the British producer performing Sunday night as his only NA festival set for the entire year. Why? Who knows! It's provocative.
Moreover, Bonnaroo's infamous SuperJam will be hosted by Dashboard Confessional for a special "Once More with Feeling(s) – The Dashboard Confessional Emo SuperJam," featuring special guests TBA.
