Bob Mould

"Voices in My Head" (video)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jan 12, 2016

Coming off yesterday's (January 11) announcement of Bob Mould's forthcoming Patch the Sky album, the long-running indie rocker has premiered the first piece of music from the project. A hallucinatory, plaid-clad video behind the record's "Voices in My Head" is streaming now.

Directed by Alicia J. Rose, the video finds Mould haunted by various doppelgangers as he tries to go about his business in his high-rise apartment. "I can play the victim, or get on with life instead," he sings at one point, through the row of spectral clones.

You can see the clip supporting the jangle-heavy power pop number down below. As previously reported, Patch the Sky is due March 25 through Merge Records.

Additionally, a run of North American dates supporting the album has been announced, and include a stop in Toronto this May. You'll find the show info below as well.
