Handily beating retail and grocery stores at their own game, Blue Man Group are getting in the seasonal spirit well ahead of time in announcing a holiday EP.

The performance art group will share Overjoy to the World on October 27 via Rhino Records, marking their first holiday-themed release. The nine-song EP follows their 2016 instrumental album THREE

A look at the tracklist shows that BMG have reinterpreted holiday staples like "Feliz Navidad" and a medley of songs from The Nutcracker. Thanks to their PVC instruments, "Carol of the Bells" becomes "Carol of the Pipes," whereas "PVC Dreidel Mashup" is likely a different spin on "I Have a Little Dreidel."

Arriving today — weeks before Halloween — is "Jingle Bones," complete with a video you can view below. In the accompanying visuals for their punked-up take on "Jingle Bells," the trio show off their impressive "drumbone" instruments that have been decorated accordingly.

"Drumbone is the least efficient instrument ever invented," BMG contributing director and music composer Jeff Turlik shares in a release. "It's very difficult to jump around the scale, and 'Jingle Bells' goes all over the place. There's no real way to cover the tune with one drumbone. You have to see it to believe how they actually manage playing this song."
