Fans of long-running pop punk hooligans Blink-182 were no doubt excited for the band's 20th anniversary world tour, but the trio have cancelled their remaining shows throughout May.
The announcement comes following the news that drummer Travis Barker had to undergo an emergency tonsillectomy and now faces "a recovery period expected to extend beyond the scheduled tour dates."
The May 10 and 11 shows in Thackerville, OK have been postponed until September 13 and 14, but the rest of the May dates have been cancelled. This includes the band's lone Canadian appearance in Quebec City on May 22, which will not be rescheduled. Information on obtaining refunds can be found here.
Blink-182 were also lined up to play at New Jersey's Bamboozle Festival, though no refunds will be offered for the event.
A statement on the band's official website reads: "The band apologizes for any inconvenience as a result of these cancelations and thanks their fans for their ongoing support."
The remaining world tour dates should be unaffected and can be seen below.
