Blink-182

"Home Is Such a Lonely Place" (video)

Arena-sized pop punk trio Blink-182 recently dropped another batch of tunes on the deluxe edition of California, but they're still managing to promote the original release with a music video for "Home Is Such a Lonely Place."

In our California review, we chastised the ballad for "pairing sprinkly acoustic guitars with whining that gives full-body embarrassment chills." Suitably, the cornball song has been paired with an equally earnest video.

Directed by Jason Goldwatch and shot by the band themselves, the clip utilizes grainy, handheld footage that showcases all three members as they prepare to leave for tour. Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker chill with their families in their ridiculous mansions, while Matt Skiba zooms down the highway on his high-end motorcycle. You know, classic punk stuff.
