Published Mar 23, 2017More incredible work between Björk and Arca is sure to come following their team-up on the former's 2015 LP Vulnicura. Now, a new Instagram teaser shows that the talented producer could bring a fresh spin to Björk's older work.
In an Instagram post today (March 23), Björk revealed that Arca will perform alongside her at Toluca, Mexico's Ceremonia festival. She promised that "lush treats" would be a part of the set including a "ridiculous" version of her track "Isobel" from 1995's Post. You can hear a snippet of the remix below.
Last year, Björk revealed that she and Arca were at work on a follow-up to Vulnicura, saying they had completed three songs.
"I'm writing my next thing. I'm still allowing myself to be a submarine; I don't totally have the view of it yet," she revealed. "It's funny, each album is different for me. Like, what comes first? With this one it's maybe the melodies. This is very abstract, but the melodies have a similar kind of shape.
"The last album, we sort of call it 'hell' – it was like divorce! So we are doing paradise now. Utopia. We have done hell, we have earned some points."
