Last month, Billy Corgan took time to remind everyone of the Smashing Pumpkins' influence, and he's now passing down some of his knowledge in-studio with Code Orange.
Over the weekend, both the daring metal outfit and the Smashing Pumpkins frontman shared the black-and-white shot found below, which pictures Corgan with Code Orange's Jami Morgan, Reba Meyers and Eric "Shade" Balderose.
Corgan wrote on Instagram that the studio trip involved "working with Code Orange some on their blistering new songs." The band released their album Underneath last year, which Exclaim! named among the 50 Best Albums of 2020.

Smashing Pumpkins delivered double album Cyr late last year, while 2021 has seen them tee up anniversary celebrations for debut Gish and a new live album.
Later this month, Morgan and Balderose will lend production to a new Backxwash album as Nowhere2Run.
