Montreal rapper and producer Backxwash has shared the title track of her forthcoming new album. You can hear "I Lie Here Buried with My Rings and My Dresses" below.
The single arrives with a hook from former Black Dresses member Ada Rook, and it will open I Lie Here Buried with My Rings and My Dresses, due to arrive June 20.
As previously reported, the album will feature Sad13, Lauren Bousfield and more, with production from Nowhere2Run (a.k.a. Code Orange members Eric "Shade" Balderose and Jami Morgan) and clipping.
I Lie Here Buried with My Rings and My Dresses will follow Backxwash's Polaris Music Prize-winning LP God Has Nothing to Do with This Leave Him Out of It, which Exclaim! named the best album of 2020.
Earlier this week, Backxwash was revealed as a participant in Adult Swim's 2021 Singles series.
