This week, Bill Murray will deliver his Netflix special A Very Murray Christmas and with it will come a collaborative 7-inch with Parisian rock act Phoenix. We don't get to hear their team-up in full just yet, but there is a tiny teaser out there to get us excited.
On Twitter, Phoenix posted an incredibly brief 15-second snippet. Half of it is spent with Bill Murray mumbling along, and the other half has some sprightly piano courtesy of collaborator Paul Shaffer. And that's it — no Phoenix, no Jason Schwartzman, no Buster Poindexter.
It's not a lot to go on, but it still has us pretty damn excited for the special and 7-inch to arrive in full this Friday (December 4), when the Sofia Coppola-directed film will also hit Netflix.
