Beyoncé and JAY-Z have been dabbling in veganism since 2013, and now they've asked their fans to follow suit in the foreword of a new book.

The Greenprint (perhaps a riff on Jay's own Blueprint) was written by Bey's trainer Marco Borges, and emphasizes a plant-based diet to achieve the "best body" and a "better world."

In the introduction, Mr. and Mrs. Carter reveal how their relationship with health has changed since having children.

"Having children has changed our lives more than anything else," they wrote, according to People. "We used to think of health as a diet — some worked for us, some didn't. Once we looked at health as the truth, instead of a diet, it became a mission for us to share that truth and lifestyle with as many people as possible."

The couple aren't advocating that everyone go full vegan right away, but noted the positive health and environmental effects of incorporating more plant-based food into one's lifestyle.

"We all have a responsibility to stand up for our health and the health of the planet," they wrote. "Let's take this stand together. Let's spread the truth. Let's make this mission a movement. Let's become the Greenprint."

The Greenprint was released on December 31. It's available here.

Beyoncé and JAY-Z, meanwhile, released their first joint album as the Carters with Everything Is Love last year.
