Polish extreme metal overlords Behemoth are ready to take the songs from their furious and freaky The Satanist LP out on the road again and have announced they'll be playing the album in its entirety on their newly announced spring North American tour.
Dubbed the "Blasfemia Amerika Tour," the trip begins near the end of April and will find band leader Nergal and co. performing all of their latest black metal blasterpiece. Making the trip extra special — beyond an opening slot from one-woman metal outfit Myrkur — a related art exhibit titled "The Congregation" will be staged at each stop.
It's further explained that the exhibit is "a symbiosis of Behemoth and Toxic Vision," which will put on display various stage outfits, props, music videos and more that Canadian artist Sharon Toxic has crafted for the band over the years.
"We've always pushed ourselves very hard trying to reach the highest peaks of artistic creativity," Nergal said in a statement, adding of the tour's audio-visual art show experiment, "We are beyond excited to see how these synergies coexist."
Toxic added that the staging of "The Congregation" is a "culmination of craft and magic," and that "once you step inside, you might never find your way out."
The trip finds Behemoth blaspheming for Canadian crowds in Toronto and Montreal. You'll find all the date and venue details below.
