Beefs 2013: Lil Wayne Claims to Have Been Banned from All NBA Events

Don't count on seeing Lil Wayne hanging out near the sidelines at any basketball games in the near future. According to Weezy himself, the skateboard-obsessed rapper has been banned from all NBA events after mouthing off during a Miami Heat game earlier this month.

We might want to take this news with a grain of salt, since it doesn't come directly from the NBA. Rather, it comes from a rant Lil Wayne made onstage during an NBA All-Star weekend event last night (February 17) in Houston, TX.

As TMZ reports, Weezy told the audience, "The NBA banned me from all NBA events... The Miami Heat told them to ban me."

He went on to lead the crowd in shouts of "fuck NBA" and "fuck Miami Heat." Things continued to get even more unsavoury from there, and the rapper claimed to have slept with Heat star Chris Bosh's wife. Yikes.

So why is the Miami Heat organization supposedly so anti-Weezy? Well, the rhymer claimed that the police kicked him out of a game in Miami on February 10 after he rooted for the Los Angeles Lakers. A rep from the team, however, told TMZ that Lil Wayne was not ejected but had chosen to leave.

Frankly, we don't quite know what to think about all this, but you can watch Lil Wayne's extremely foul-mouthed rant below.

UPDATE: NBA spokesperson Mark Broussard told TMZ that there is "no truth at all" to Weezy's claims and he has not been banned from any NBA events.
