The yuletide was unmistakably gay at Barenaked Ladies' beloved Toronto holiday concert series last year, and now, the group will increase the spread of their cheer across the country with the Hometown Holidays Tour.
Festive sing-alongs of all your favourites and a few other chestnuts worth of surprises are in store for the band's performances in Vancouver, Penticton, Edmonton, Red Deer, Calgary, Regina, Winnipeg, Thunder Bay, North Bay, Ottawa, Hamilton, Kitchener, Windsor and Toronto.
"We're bringing Barenaked Holiday Cheer to YOUR Hometown!" BNL's Ed Robertson said in a release. "It's been a couple of long, cold, lonely winters, so let's have some fun!"
The trek kicks off on the West Coast with a December 1 show at Vancouver's Centre for the Performing Arts, after which they'll make their way to Ontario to finish things off with a grand finale at Toronto's Massey Hall on December 22.
Tickets go on sale this Thursday (September 29) at 10 a.m. local time via the band's website. Barenaked Bytes members will have first access to presale tickets and V.I.P. packages on Tuesday (September 27) at 10 a.m. local time, while the presale for American Express cardholders begins at 12 p.m.
