Arts & Crafts, Paper Bag, Dine Alone, Outside Team Up for Independent Label Market at NXNE

Since 2011, the organizers of Independent Label Market have hosted record fairs in England and the U.S., and soon it will be coming to Canada for the first time. The event will take place during Toronto's NXNE, on June 15, at Ryerson University's Campus Common.

Among the labels who will be on hand to sell their music directly to the public are Paper Bag Records, Arts & Crafts, Outside Music, Last Gang Records, Dine Alone Records, Static Clang, Nevado Records and MapleMusic. More labels will be confirmed soon.

"People love to buy music when they can hold it and feel it, and in our digitally focused age it's a pleasure to be bringing a more intimate format for record-buying to Toronto as part of NXNE festival," Independent Label Market founder Joe Daniel said in a statement. "Expect label bosses from the cream of Canada's independent music scene selling catalogue items, rarities, and one-off special items made just for this event."

For those who still have some cash left over after Record Store Day, this looks to be a way to pick up some more exclusive goodies. Watch a mini-documentary about the original Independent Label Market from 2011 below and be sure to check out the Facebook event.
