Here we go again. Ari Lennox is the latest performer to be forced to dodge projectiles mid-set, being subjected to a flying water bottle aimed in her direction while opening for Rod Wave's North American Nostalgia tour at Inglewood, CA's KIA Forum last night (November 29).

As she was just about to delve into the nitty-gritty of her age/sex/location track "Pressure" after an empowering speech, fan-shot footage shows a water bottle rocketing onto the stage, nearly hitting Lennox. The singer was immediately brought out of the performance — and a rant ensued.

"Bitch, don't fucking play with me, stop that shit," she said. "I will fuck you up. Who did it? Who the fuck did it?"

Looking around the crowd trying to locate the culprit and prompting security to emerge, Lennox continued, "Who the fuck did it? I'll fuck your ass up, 'cause I don't play that. I'm a real-ass bitch and I will fuck your shit all the way up."

"Don't you ever disrespect a beautiful Black woman on the fucking stage like that, " she added. "I will fucking fuck you up."

Lennox's response calls to mind a #YeetBeat edition from back in July, when Adele addressed the trend of people throwing shit at performers and issued a fair warning to the crowd at one of her Las Vegas residency shows. "I fucking dare you, I dare you to throw something at me," the British artist said. "I'll fucking kill you."

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift was certainly more Taylor Swift in her approach earlier this month, when she admitted at one of the Buenos Aires Eras Tour shows that stuff getting thrown on stage really freaks her out. "I love that you brought presents, and that is so nice," the pop star told the audience, "but just, can you please not throw them on the stage?"
