While rumours have been bubbling about a new Arcade Fire album for a while now, it seems we may be getting a taste of the band's latest as soon as this Friday (June 2).
Early this morning (May 30) Vancouver radio station 102.7 The Peak tweeted, "Hold onto your bobble heads, @arcadefire have promised us a new tune on Friday!" And while that was then quickly deleted, it was saved by the folks over at Stereogum — a move that is only adding to our suspicion.
This latest tidbit comes as news also emerged that the band have been working on a new video.
At this point, the Arcade Fire camp has confirmed nothing on its end, but our bets are on some new music coming our way fast.
The last proper Arcade Fire album remains 2013's Reflektor, which you can order via Umusic on CD or vinyl.
