A$AP Rocky Gets His Own Winged Adidas Sneakers

If your Bon Iver shoes are starting to look a little worn out and you're in the market for new footwear, then you might be pleased to know that Harlem rap sensation A$AP Rocky has become the latest musician to get his own signature pair of kicks.

While plenty of musicians have gotten their own shoes in recent years, these ones are unique in that they have, uh, wings. That's a photo of the Hermes-like sneakers up above [via Highsnobiety/Pitchfork].

The shoes will come out through Adidias Originals and were created in collaboration with Rocky and fashion designer Jeremy Scott, who has previously designed other winged shoes for Adidas. These ones are called the JS Wings 2.0 Black Flag, and the design of black stars and stripes was inspired by the cover of Rocky's Long.Live.A$AP album.

Rocky and Scott are apparently friends; the rapper mentioned Scott's Adidas line in his song "Out of This World," and he wore a pair of Scott-designed shoes in his "Purple Swag" video. What's more, he recently appeared in an Adidas commercial

There's no word as to exactly when the shoes will come out, but expect details to be confirmed soon.
