Andrew Bird has added a summer leg to his North American tour plans, extending the trek into July and August and mapping out a pair of Canadian dates.
The summer dates begin in Pioneertown, CA, on July 7, and the singer-songwriter will traverse the West Coast through much of summer. Toward the end of July, Bird will perform two shows north of the border: one at Vancouver's Centre for Performing Arts on the 26th, and another in Calgary on the 28th.
The trek will continue on through the Midwestern states in August, wrapping up with a two-night stint in Boulder, CO, on the 4th and 5th. These new dates are in addition to Bird's spring run, which includes another Canadian stop at Toronto's History on April 9.
The tour will see support from Ted Poor, Joan Shelley, Madison Cunningham and Uwade on select dates.
Tickets for the summer leg go on sale this Friday, March 31, at 10 a.m. local time, with presales beginning at 10 a.m. local on Wednesday (March 29). See the complete schedule below.
