Swollen Members rapper Prevail has been working with his nephew Neph on a fresh project called Alpha Omega, and the Vancouver-based collaborators have just rolled out a new song entitled "Ghost Town."
This D-Rec-produced track has an old-school vibe, as a spooky beat anchors a patchwork of samples, loops and turntablism. This sets the tone for the rappers to deliver a pair of rapid-fire, densely rhyme-filled verses and declare, "This is the renaissance of rap, West Coast back in action."
Hear the track below. This comes from the forthcoming EP The Concept, due out this year through Kitsilano Records.
