The Acorn Announce Quebec/Ontario Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Mar 9, 2011

Still riding high on the good vibes provided by their most recent album No Ghost, Ottawa's the Acorn are gearing up to take their current batch of cheerful tunes around Ontario and Quebec.

The quick trip kicks off in Kingston, ON on April 20 and wraps up one week later at the Horsehoe Tavern in Toronto. Country-inflected rockers Evening Hymns will come along for the dates as well.

In the meantime, the group have just wrapped up a music video shoot for No Ghost track "Misplaced." Taking advantage of the chilly weather that rocked the East Coast this winter, the clip was "shot on a frozen lake in Ontario's Sand Banks National Park."

The video has not yet been released, but judging by the pics from the snow-covered shoot (see above), it's a good thing the band wore their jackets. Rolf Klausener's heart-warming coo probably helped them out a bit too. Check out an older acoustic performance of the song below.
