A Perfect Circle

"Disillusioned" (video)

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Mar 9, 2018

So far, A Perfect Circle have unleashed "The Doomed" and "Disillusioned" from their upcoming album Eat the Elephant, and now the latter single has been given the video treatment.

The clip was directed by Alex Howard and captures a large crowd of people acting like phone-obsessed zombies. The cult-like group are presided over by a small group of robed, VR headset-wearing folks, until one woman finally manages to break free from the spell of technology.

It's a pretty obvious trope from a band who have made their hatred of phones clear in the past few months. Nevertheless, watch them drive home the message once again in the video for "Disillusioned" down below.

Previously teased live tracks "Hourglass" and "Feathers" will also appear on the upcoming album. It marks the band's first new LP in 14 years, and the long wait comes to an end on April 20 when Eat the Elephant arrives via BMG.
