The legacy of West Coast rap icon 2Pac shouldn't be reduced to chicken sandwiches and Johnny Depp films, but auctioning off all of the rapper's belongings certainly doesn't help the case. The latest of Pac's possessions to hit the auction block? His nose stud.
TMZ reports that Alexander Historical Auctions is offering the stud, which was featured prominently on the cover of his All Eyez on Me LP, for $7,500 USD as part of the Black Heritage Auction. Other items set to be included in the auction include Pac's personal signed Koran, a Dolce & Gabbana wool jacket, and the lyric sheets for "Wonda Why They Call U Bitch."
TMZ also reveals that the estate of Pac's late mother, Afeni, has filed lawsuits in an effort to stop the sale of the items to no avail. The auction house is of the opinion that it acquired all of the items in a lawful manner.
Back in February, the car that 2Pac was shot in was put for sale to the tune of $1.5 million USD, while $100,000 USD would get you the weight bench that once belonged to Death Row Records.
