Zoe Lister-Jones to Write and Direct 'The Craft' Reboot

BY Josiah HughesPublished Mar 26, 2019

Perhaps most known for acting in Life in Pieces and Delocated, Zoe Lister-Jones broke through as a director with her 2017 indie comedy Band Aid. Up next, she's been tapped to helm a reboot of The Craft.

The film, which will reimagine the 1996 cult classic, will be produced by Blumhouse and Columbia. Lister-Jones will both write and direct the project, taking over from Leigh Janiak, who was originally tapped for the reboot in 2015.

It's not exactly clear how the new Craft film will reimagine the original, though we can expect more info soon.

The original version of The Craft starred Robin Tunney, Fairuza Balk, Neve Campbell, Christine Taylor and Skeet Ulrich and explored a secret group of witches at a Catholic prep high school.
