Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves May Have Actually Got Married While Filming 'Dracula'

Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves are set to re-team on the big screen in the upcoming rom-com Destination Wedding, but it turns out the pair may actually be spouses in real life.

In a recent interview with EW, Ryder revealed that the pair weren't just acting when they said "I do" in Francis Ford Coppola's 1992 film Bram Stoker's Dracula.

"We actually got married in Dracula," Ryder said. "No, I swear to god I think we're married in real life."

She continued, "In that scene, Francis used a real Romanian priest. We shot the master and he did the whole thing. So I think we're married."

Ryder then turned to Reeves and asked, "Don't you remember that? It was on Valentine's Day" — to which he responded, "Oh my gosh, we're married."

Coppola has since weighed in on the nuptials. Unhappy with how the scene came across as too stylized, the director decided that "having the real wedding ceremony as it might be in that religion [Greek Orthodox Christianity] would be beautiful," according to The Guardian.

It's unclear, however, if the couple used their real names during the ceremony.

The maybe-married couple have since gone on to star alongside each other in A Scanner Darkly and The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.

Destination Wedding is due out August 31. Watch the trailer below.
