After finishing 2023 strong with a sold-out hometown show at Lee's (now Reeves) Palace, Keanu Reeves has kicked off the new year by revealing that he'll once again expand his BRZRKR universe, this time with a novel.

The beloved Toronto-born actor announced on Good Morning America yesterday that The Book of Elsewhere will be co-written with UK-based author China Miéville, and is set to arrive on July 23 via Del Rey Books.

"The series tells the story of an immortal warrior's fight through the ages," he explained. "I love the world of BRZRKR so much that I wanted to explore it further, and I thought one of the best ways to do that is through a novel."

Reeves first announced that he'd be branching out from BRZRKR back in 2021, when he unveiled plans for a motion picture starring himself. Although there haven't been any public developments regarding production or casting as of yet, he did tell Collider in 2022 that he may also direct the film.
