Wes Anderson Announces Stop-Motion Feature 'Isle of Dogs'
Wes Anderson recently bestowed some holiday cheer upon us with an Adrien Brody-starring H&M holiday ad campaign, but he's also been working on his return to the big screen — and the details about the director's next film project have just been revealed.

Anderson's next film is titled Isle of Dogs, and it finds the filmmaker revisiting the stop-motion style of 2010's Fantastic Mr. Fox. Plot details are still scarce, but the film is reportedly a Japanese-inspired tale about, well, dogs.

The impressive list of confirmed cast members includes Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Jeff Goldblum, Bob Balaban, Scarlett Johansson, Bryan Cranston, F. Murray Abraham, Tilda Swinton, Greta Gerwig, Frances McDormand, Liev Schreiber, Kunichi Nomura, Akira Ito, Akira Takayama, Koyu Rankin, Yoko Ono and Courtney B. Vance.

No official trailer has surfaced yet, but Anderson has shared an announcement video for the project, which gives us a glimpse at Norton's character, Rex. Hear Anderson's announcement and see some of the film's concept art by watching the video clip below.

Isle of Dogs is currently under production in London. It marks Anderson's feature-length follow-up to 2014's The Grand Budapest Hotel.
