Way, way back in January 2018, Netflix premiered End of the F***ing World. Earlier this month, we got news that the follow-up season — aptly titled End of the F***ing World 2 — is set to return November 5. And today, we have that season's trailer.
Spoilers ahead — if you recall, the premise of the show is simple: lead characters James (Alex Lawther) and Alyssa (Jessica Barden) run away from home in an effort to find Alyssa's father, and end up going on a crime spree. At the end, James is being chased by police along a beach and everything fades to back after a dramatic inner monologue about how much James loves Alyssa. Then a gun shot is heard and season one ends.
It's unclear whether James survived, but Netflix is keeping that a secret for now. In the trailer below and you'll notice a distinct lack of Lawther's character. Is he dead? You'll have to wait until November to find out.
In the meantime, watch the trailer for End of the F***ing World 2 below.
