After getting our first look at the film in April, the first proper trailer for Neill Blomkamp's Demonic has arrived.
The new tease finds a woman entering a virtual simulation to make contact with supernatural forces, said to be "at the root of a decades old rift between mother and daughter."
Blomkamp shot Demonic in British Columbia over the course of last summer. In February, the director revealed that a District 9 sequel was also in the works.
Demonic stars Carly Pope, Chris William Martin, and Michael Rogers. The film arrives in theatres August 20, ahead of a VOD/digital release on August 27.
