Daniel Radcliffe's career is currently thriving — in 2016 he's played both a neo-Nazi and a farting corpse. Still, it looks like he can't fully escape his past as Warner Bros. is reportedly hoping to book him for a new Harry Potter trilogy.

The iconic character was recently brought back to life in the new play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and now rumours are swirling that the story might be turned into a new film.

New York Daily News has reported on the Potter rumours, with a source telling them that Radcliffe is not particularly keen on revisiting the role. In fact, the source claims that the actor may not want to don the Potter outfit again until he turns 40.

That said, Warner Bros. is reportedly willing to throw down a hefty amount of money to turn the new Harry Potter story into a trilogy that focuses on the wizard's son.

While we wait and see whether or not Radcliffe can be persuaded, the Harry Potter universe will be revisited once more with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which opens on November 18.
