Without question, Tim Burton's Beetlejuice is a true cinematic classic. And with this now being the 1988 film's 30th anniversary, its soundtrack by Danny Elfman is being dusted off for a celebratory vinyl reissue.

On Friday (December 7), Waxwork Records will release the 30th anniversary edition of the Beetlejuice Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. The deluxe re-release will feature Elfman's complete score, as well as two songs by Harry Belafonte featured in the film.

The entire soundtrack has been remastered and will arrive on a 180-gram vinyl pressing on "Beetlejuice swirl" or black and white. It also features new artwork by Phantom City Creative's Justin Erickson.

You can get an idea of what to expect visually both above and below.

To refresh your memory, Burton's 1988 film emerged as the director's breakout hit and starred Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin.

As Waxwork reminds us, "The plot revolves around a recently deceased young couple who become ghosts haunting their former home. Upon meeting a mischievous ghost named Beetlejuice that claims he can rid the couple of their home's new inhabitants, a series of hysterical and spooky events occur that take the audience through afterlife limbos, orchestrated dances, and the meeting of lovable ghouls. The film has gone on to become a comedy classic."

The soundtrack reissue will be on sale via Waxwork's website on Friday.
