Because 10 new Star Wars shows obviously aren't enough already, Disney has now announced the next proper Star Wars film. It's called Rogue Squadron, and the movie is being directed by Wonder Woman filmmaker Patty Jenkins.

Rogue Squadron is due out in Christmas 2023, and Jenkins took to Twitter to vowto make the "greatest fighter pilot movie of all time."

For the unfamiliar, Rogue Squadron was founded and led by Wedge Antilles — a seriously skilled pilot who's appeared in Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker.

Jenkins' next film, Wonder Woman 1984, will be arriving on HBO Max on Christmas Day.
