Just when we thought the star power was maxed out for the upcoming film adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time, director Ava DuVernay revealed that Sade has contributed a brand new original song to the soundtrack.
It's titled "Flower of the Universe," and although we won't get to hear it just yet, DuVernay described the experience of working with Sade as "a dream come true."
"I never thought she'd say yes, but asked anyway," the director tweeted, adding that Sade was "kind," "giving" and just a "goddess" in general.
The song marks Sade's first new material since releasing Soldier of Love in 2010, though the project has since released a greatest-hits comp and a live album.
Other contributors to the soundtrack include Sia, Kehlani, Chloe x Halle, and a collaboration between Demi Lovato and DJ Khaled.
A Wrinkle in Time stars Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Storm Reid, Chris Pine and Zach Galifianakis.
Both the soundtrack and the movie are out on March 9.
