Ryan Reynolds has landed his next role, which will find him play a time traveller.
The as-yet-untitled project is being directed by Shawn Levy, with whom Reynolds also worked with on the upcoming film Free Guy.
As Variety reports, Reynolds will star as man who must travel back in time to get help from his 13-year-old self. The script is being helmed by Jonathan Topper, and the project will come via Skydance.
So far, though, there are few other details about the film to go on.
As for Free Guy, the film is now slated to arrive in theatres on December 11 after being postponed from its original July release date due to the ongoing pandemic.
Reynolds also is reportedly in talks to be starring in a live-action remake of the impossibly hard '80s arcade game Dragon's Lair for Netflix.
