Actor Brent Briscoe has passed away at the age of 56.
Though you might not instantly recognize his name, chances are you've seen Briscoe in something. From a turn in David Lynch's recent Twin Peaks revival to his calming presence as J.J. of J.J.'s Diner on Parks and Recreation (pictured above), Briscoe had a long and illustrious career.
In addition to those roles, Briscoe's long resume included appearances in shows like 24, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Justified and Hell on Wheels, as well as movies like Mulholland Drive, The Green Mile, Sling Blade and numerous other projects.
